What Do Mobile Phones and Desk Lamps Have In Common?

The strangest one that I have heard about recently is buying your SIMs card for your mobile phone from Ikea. Best know for their low price and fun furniture, they are the mainstay of every college dorm room. But in England, they also launching a pay-as-you-go phone business. It is available to Ikea customers at 25% below the standard phone rates. Since they only sell the cards, not the phones, they don’t have much inventory to handle. Could be a really great product for Ikea to try. And if it works there, I would expect to see the U.S. big brand retails with member programs start similar programs soon.
