My little adventure with Drupel is proceeding well (read: I have only ripped out 10% of my hair so far).  I am going slowly because of other things on my plate.  I have a self-imposed deadline of this week to integrate Google Maps into my Drupe test site.  Well, actually the deadline is partially self-imposed and partially library imposed.  I have borrowed the book Hacking Google Maps and Google Earth.  It is a good book in that it seems to lie out all of the info from the Google Maps developer site into one book.  I have to admit that I like to page through books and mark my place with old-fashioned paper bookmarks rather than trying to learn a new computer skill from the Internet.  Real books are just easier to scan.  And blessed be indexes.  They keep me sane.  

At this stage, it looks like it will be easy to integrate Google Maps into Drupel 5.0.  I hope that I don’t end up regretting these words.  I will let you know how it turns out.
