Another letter from our favorite scammers. This time, the scam is more out in the open. Someone must have been complaining, and they were forced to change their methods. The scam still is the same, Send in your basic business info and a check for $150, and Corporate Business Bureau will send you a copy of your business minutes. At least there are no seals that look official or several pages of small print. It is just a single-sided page that clearly says at the bottom that this is

..A sOLICITATION FOR THE ORDER OF SERVICES, AND NOT A BILL, INVOICE, OR STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT DUE. YOU ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO MAKE ANY PAYMENTS ON ACCOUNT OF THIS OFFER UNLESS YOU ACCEPT THIS OFFER. THIS PRODUCT OR SERVICE HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED OR ENDORSED BY ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY, AND THIS OFFER IS NOT BEING MADE BY AN AGENCY OF THE GOVERNMENT.

Still, the offer is a complete waste of time, money and dead trees. And if a business owner is in a hurry and does not read carefully, they may get conned.
